The day began in the 101 degree heat of the day with a tennis tourney.

Memorable moment came when Sara, used to repeating the scoring statements being coached to her before each serve, echoed teammate Scott's exhortation to "Ace Mark!" Yeah, "Ace Mark" isn't actually the score... =)
Mark and Renee proved the winners of this initial event! Here they co-sport the red armband - the "yellow jersey" of the SSI 3.
